SUMMARY:Bucket Brigade Humanitarian Garden Project
DESCRIPTION:This will be a great opportunity to help us transform a damaged ecosystem in Elings Park into a regenerative humanitarian garden and native plant habitat restoration area. Volunteers will meet at the Parking Lot for Elings Downhill Course for a garden tour\, safety briefing\, and coffee and doughnut session to adjust caffeine and sugar levels before we head out into the garden. \n \nSIGNUP \n \nPizza Party Lunch at 12:30 with Rusty’s Pizza – Official Pizza Sponsor of the Santa Barbara Bucket Brigade! \n \nWHAT TO BRING? \n \n\nPlease wear long pants\,\nlong sleeve shirt\,\na hat and\nsturdy closed-toe shoes.  \nIf you have gloves – please bring those too. \nIf not\, we will provide you with a pair.\nPlease bring a reusable water bottle to help us protect the environment as we stay hydrated.\n\n \nThis project will involve moderate exercise\, using rakes\, shovels\, hoes\, wheelbarrows\, and pitchforks.  We will take breaks to stretch and take in the beautiful ocean views.
