SUMMARY:UCSB Nature Walk with 3rd District Supervisor Joan Hartmann!
DESCRIPTION:The walk around the newly restored upper arms of Devereux Slough will be led by Darwin Richardson\, the restoration project manager. The area\, which is the former location of a golf course\, has been planted with locally sourced native plants to create an ecological wonderland for research\, teaching and just plain enjoyment. It is highly recommended to bring binoculars.  \nDo not miss this opportunity for a tour of an important large-scale habitat restoration of seriously impacted wetlands in an urban setting.
