SUMMARY:Cachuma Lake Recreation Area Nature Walks
DESCRIPTION:Reservations are required by calling (805) 688-4515. \nFirst come\, first served. Available for ages 3 and older. No pets\, please. Free to campers or free with the $10 park entrance fee for day-use visitors. There are also miles of trails for self-guided hikes within the park. Trail maps are available at the Main Gate. \nPrivate guided walks outside of these times are also available depending upon staff availability and have a $30 group fee.

There will be a special visit from our City Rangers on bikes.\nGet some healthy living information in English and Spanish from our partner booths. North County Food Bank and United Way.\nThe Los Padres National Forest will have information on trails and fire prevention. Kids get a Smokey Bear sticker while supplies last!\n\nThis is a fun\, family-friendly way to get together\, get outside\, and move! \nMEET at Preisker Lane – trail head parking lot \nApril 11th\, 2026 – 10:00 am – 12:30 pm.
