SUMMARY:Sea Center’s April Ocean Ambassador Beach Cleanup
DESCRIPTION:Meet us on East Beach behind Skater’s Point skate park and the adjacent Palm Park parking lot at East Beach. Anyone is welcome. Participants under 18 will need a waiver signed by their parent/guardian\, and children under 14 must be accompanied by their parent/guardian. The Sea Center will provide some gloves and bags\, however\, we encourage you to bring your own supplies to reduce waste. \nRSVP to join us. \nCan’t make this date\, but still want to help out? The Sea Center hosts beach cleanups on the third Sunday of almost every month\, weather permitting. Check our calendar for all Sea Center events—including other cleanup dates—or explore all the Sea Center volunteer opportunities. \nQuestions? DESCRIPTION:Event Schedule:\n\n9:00 AM – Check-in at the Dunes Center and enjoy complimentary Starbucks coffee\n9:15 AM – Shuttle departs for Rancho Guadalupe Dunes\n9:30 AM – 11:30 PM – Hands-on beach cleanup and Trash Bingo for kids\n11:30 PM – 2:00 PM – Return to the Dunes Center for food truck\, vendors\, and\n\nWaste sorting demo by Waste Management\nSustainable gardening sales from The Whispering Tree\nDelicious food sold by Lobo Butcher Shop\n\n\n\nWaivers will be completed during check-in—we’ll have everything ready while you enjoy your coffee! \nRound-trip transportation is provided from the Dunes Center to the beach and back. Please dress for the weather\, wear closed-toe shoes\, and bring a reusable water bottle. \nThis event is free and open to all ages\, but shuttle space is limited—pre-registration is required. Let’s come together to make a difference—one bag of trash at a time! Limited reservations\, register early! \nLocation: Start at the Guadalupe-Nipomo Dunes Center (1065 Guadalupe St.\, Guadalupe\, CA 93434) \n\nDonations to the Dunes Center are always appreciated\, supporting educational programming and conservation efforts.
