SUMMARY:Wildlife Flower Tour at the Wildlife Refuge
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an adventure at Coreopsis Hill in the Guadalupe-Nipomo Dunes on Saturday\, April 6\, 2024\, sponsored by The Guadalupe-Nipomo Dunes Center and the US Fish and Wildlife Service\, led by Mark Skinner and Ray Segovia. Starting at 9:00 AM (please arrive between 8:45 and 9:00)\, this casual hike will lead us through the dunes to the hill’s peak\, with a 300 ft elevation gain. Long pants and closed shoes are recommended for coastal dune scrub habitat\, mindful of poison oak and ticks. For more info\, email admin@dunescenter.org. Rain cancels. Let’s explore nature together! \n \nParking: We will have people posted at the entrance of the USFWS fenced road to direct parking. The gate will be open around 8:30 am.
