Out and Back - 5 miles (2.5 miles each way). Moderate incline for first 1.75 mile with an elevation gain of 1,000’ which is pretty shady and riparian, the remaining 0.75 miles to the road is steeper with an additional gain of 750’ and is more exposed.

Pre-Trailpalooza Hike

We decided now is the time to catch the wild flowers and green Solomon Hills. This hike is free for everyone already registered for or has their entry fee to Trailpalooza or has donated $20 or more to Santa Maria Valley Open Space in 2024.
